Dr. Sharon Chen completed her medical degree and pediatric residency at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by her pediatric cardiology fellowship and pediatric heart failure/transplantation sub-specialty training at Stanford University. She remained on faculty at Stanford University, caring for pediatric heart failure and heart transplant patients and serving as the endowed medical director of the Single Ventricle Program at Stanford. She joined the University of Utah in 2024 as a Clinical Professor in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology and is currently Section Chief of Pediatric Heart Failure and Transplantation. Dr. Chen’s clinical and research interests include pediatric heart failure and transplant, ventricular assist device support, and single ventricle heart disease.
