Louise is a Principal Clinical Psychologist and the lead psychologist for the Cardiothoracic Transplant service at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. Following the completion of her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology she has worked extensively within the field of paediatric solid organ transplant. This work has led her to have a specialist interest in understanding the lived experience of young people and their families and primarily uses a narrative therapy framework for her clinical practice. Her current research is into the long term neurocognitive and neurodevelopmental outcomes for young people who had a ventricular assist device as a bridge to heart transplantation.
